Hive76 is my most recent project. Founded in May 2009, this is a third generation hackerspace, based in Philadelphia, PA. With 15+ members (and growing) This is one of the organizations grow Philadelphia into a more amazing place to make things. Q&A with Technically Philly, City Paper discusses the group’s launch, or Keystone Edge coverage.

Ignite Philly

As 1/4 to 1/7th of the Ignite Philly crew (the size of the group changes) I get to play a part in presenting new and fantastic ideas to anyone in Philadelphia in Lightening Talk format.

The Hacktory

My previous hackerspace. Based out of N.T.R. nonprofit, this hackerspaces was founded in 2007, in order to give the DIY and Maker community a project-centered home in Philadelphia.

Ant Hill Cooperative

I helped Co-Found Ant Hill in 2004, as part of a group of recent college graduates, that wanted our own place to live, change to meet our needs, and split to save money and have community.

Other Projects

From 2008 to 2010 this was a almost-monthly meetup hosted by the University of the Arts, dedicated to a one hour talk by a great local maker, followed by a one hour Maker Challenge, to build something amazing.

A city-wiki for Rochester NY. This was founded as part of the wave if city wiki’s that were founded in 2004 to 2006. Due to all of our city centric posts being deleted from wikipedia, we created our own. As of 2013 RocWiki is still running and growing.
